UK Modifications

Several modifications to the airframe were necessary for the UK market, in order to gain compliance under JAR VLA.

The most significant modifications are as follows:

-    Wing structure/spar modified to enable the max TOW to be increased to 530kgs.

-    The vertical fin structure has been strengthened to compensate for the increased weight.

-    A removable carbon panel is now fitted to the underside of the fuselage to facilitate easier access for inspection etc.

-    Alpi Aviation has improved the main undercarriage legs, incorporating hydraulic dampers on the trailing arms and giving increased deflection and a much softer ride on rough ground. 

-    Stall warning system incorporated
